The Inkey List Skincare Review

The Inkey List is a brand that claims to “offer high-quality products at a price point that’s hard to turn down.” I decided to try them out after a friend recommended me to check them out because they offered products for under $10 at Sephora. I decided to get an entire regiment, and I have some exciting thoughts about the ingredients used. The first thing I want to note is that everything comes in plastic, which is not sustainable, as well as making products not last as long, such as Vitamin C as opposed to glass. The cleanser was not my favorite as it had Alcohol, and it irritated my skin. The toner smelled like chemicals, and it contained sodium hydroxide, which is strongly irritating and burned my skin. Polyglumatic Acid was supposed to help maintain skin moisture. However, it irritated my skin and made me feel uncomfortable to reuse. The 15% Vitamin C and EGF serum said it was low irritation; however, it contained Alcohol, which irritated my skin! Vitamin B, C, and E Moisturizer was supposed to help brighten skin and keep it smooth; however, it contained two types of Alcohol and burned my skin when I put it on. The Brighten-I Eye Cream was way too heavy for underneath my eyes as well as irritated it with two types of Alcohol, so my eye area turned red. Overall I wouldn’t use the Inkey List again as the ingredients are not up to organic line standards as well as having tons of skin irritants. Thanks so much for reading.
