KORA Organics Skincare Review

KORA Organics is a certified organic and natural products brand for one simple reason – because what you put on your skin soaks in. I love the brand philosophy and have reviewed the Turmeric Mask, however, I had to try out their entire line. The Sensitive Cleanser claimed to be “formulated with noni fruit, chamomile and calendula extracts, combined with avocado oil to soothe and calm your skin, leaving it feeling fresh and soft.” It felt very gentle, however I didn’t feel like it cleansed enough. The Rose Mist claims to be a “replenishing facial mist that provides your skin with antioxidant protection,” it smelled like a rose garden, and felt very refreshing and balancing. I was pleasantly surprised by the Rose Mist and love that it balances your skin like a toner while adding hydration with Aloe Juice. The next product I used was the Noni Glow Face Oil which is packed with Noni. It’s derived from the Noni fruit, which is a superfood and antioxidant containing more than 100 vitamins and minerals that are known for natural rejuvenating properties. It smells citrusy and after I applied it, I realized that it felt very greasy and heavy. I personally didn't love the serum the first time and I also don’t like the packaging. I’d prefer it in an airtight bottle, especially because of all the antioxidants inside of it. The Noni Eye Oil claims to be “an organic eye treatment formulated to smooth, tone, and brighten the eye area for a youthful and radiant appearance.” I really liked the eye oil and it felt very cooling. I also really liked that it contained Avocado and Rosehip Oil, however, the only thing I do have to say is it was a little difficult to get out of the rose quartz applicator but I did like the feeling when applying. The hydrating moisturizer claims to “soften the skin’s texture and reduce the appearance of fine lines, leaving the complexion soft, smooth, and supple.” It smells like Rosehip Oil and Jojoba. After applying the moisturizer I realized that it started to feel very warm and a little heavy, and I felt a slight irritation. After checking the ingredients, I think this is due to the two different types of alcohol. I would not use this again as it didn’t feel hydrating nor soothing. The lip treatment claims to be a “nurturing lip treatment that rejuvenates and conditions to deliver smooth, hydrated lips while improving the appearance of fine lines,” and it felt smooth, nourishing, and hydrating. My lips appeared to look more nourished and I loved that it had Noni. Overall I loved a few of the products and I will leave them linked down below, however I did want to say that I would’ve approved the entire line if it weren't for the moisturizer containing alcohol. Thanks so much for reading xoxo -Chaz
