Sunday Riley Power Couple Trio Review

Sunday Riley was a favorite of mine for a very long time, I love there packaging and marketing. However recently the FCC found that they were hiring their employees to write fake reviews. The only thing I have to say about that is if they would have spent that energy sending PR packages to bloggers like me than they wouldn’t have been in a mess, would have good press and lots of new customers. Anyway I think they have good formulas and I recently saw that they came out with a new moisturizer called the Ice Cream so I had to try it out. First off I went off and just got a bunch of stuff so this is a haul. The Ceramic Slip Cleanser is a good cleanser that I have used before my only thing with it is it has a antimicrobial preservative that can be a little drying but other than that I love the French Clay. They sell a Lactic Acid Treatment that can be mixed with the cleanser to create a hydrating and exfoliating mask. I would prefer if it was a ready made mask as I know the lactic acid alone is to harsh for my skin and it has a couple different parabens and formaldehyde which has been shown to be a skin irritant. The mask mixed together did leave my skin glowing I am just on the fence about it because it isn’t totally natural but I did like the results however I don’t know if I would be comfortable wearing this often because it could create some sensitivity over time. The Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream had a interesting smell I couldn’t quite pin point and had a very thick texture. It was very hydrating but I wouldn’t recommend it as I felt like my pores couldn’t breathe and if I went anywhere tropical it would most likely make me break out. The Autocorrect Brightening eye cream had alcohol and was a cream which I don’t like either in eye treatment especially since it is the most sensitive skin on your face. The Luna Night Drops are amazing and are super hydrating, the formula is also 100% clean which I appreciate. My only issue with the Luna Drops is the dropper packaging but other than that I love the product. So overall I would definitely recommend the Cleanser, Luna Night Drops, and if you have mature skin that needs exfoliating the Lactic Acid mixed with the Cleanser is for you. Thanks so much for reading xoxo -Chaz
